The start

As some of you know, I have recently packed up my life into a tiny little storage cage, filled my car with what I can, and taken off on an adventure around Australia (and the world), working in rural emergency departments and travelling in between. This wasn’t a decision I made lightly, and actually truth be told it stemmed from some very difficult times. But ultimately, it was fuelled by the knowledge that life is so fragile and unpredictable, and the drive to live it to its fullest. This means very different things for different people. For me, it means seeing as much of this world as possible. It means travelling. It means stretching myself waaaaaay out of my comfort zone, in the hope that I appreciate each day just that little bit more. It means going on adventures. It means being outdoors.
And so here I am, with my trusty car and swag and bike (with cleats that I’m still terrified of riding but a big shout out to Mum who bought me a GoPro, so standby for the learning-to-ride-with-cleats videos) setting off on a big adventure. If you’d like to follow along I shall be sharing my journey regularly right here.
